KALW RADIO

Editor | Producer

Before I ever cut my first video clip, I was a radio producer and editor for KALW 91.7 San Francisco Public Radio. I learned to edit dialogue, shape stories, and work cheerfully under pressure on a daily deadline with a big creative team. I never went to film school, but in a way I think this was the perfect way to start my documentary editing career. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

A short documentary about art conservation produced with my partner Nicole Passerotti (who is now an accomplished conservator herself):

An episode of Storycorps about a violinist, as told to her Aunt Rita:

My first (and only) on-air interview, with the great Russian-American author and war reporter Anna Badkhen

An epic 60 minute documentary about the 2010 San Francisco Giants produced by the entire KALW staff as we freaked out deliriously (along with the whole city) about their first ever World Series win in SF.
