A far-out blend of doc, narrative, and behind the scenes cinema starring Alec Baldwin and Jason Sudeikis. I started as the archival footage editor/researcher (no small task since we had about fifty years and two continents worth of newsreels, interviews, home movies, films, etc.) Eventually Don and Sheena gave me a chance to edit some scenes, too. Which meant the first feature narrative scene I ever cut starred Alec Baldwin. I also got to edit a talking head interview with D.A. Pennebaker. Just wild.

Fun story: the second video here is the scene in the movie where Alec first starts thinking about how to play John DeLorean. He’s watching an archival clip reel I made for him to the learn the character. Later, I worked on the edit of this very scene. Behind the behind the behind the scenes.

The film premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.
